As of January 1, 2024... myself and my business partner have purchased Silverthorne Powersports. We are incredibly excited to be a partner to the local community and we are committed to taking great care of our guests.
I have two young girls and a wife that all ride as well.
In 1987, I was introduced to riding by my father at the age of 3 years old. We used to frequent places like Glamis and Ocotillo Wells. My Father (AKA "DrQ") builds and tunes some of the baddest 2-stroke machines around so I'm thankful to say, it all started with him. With that said, the off-road industry has been a passion of mine for my entire life.
Some races I have participated include CORCS, MINT 400 (this is an annual race that by business partner and I attend - it is epic... feel free to ask us more about it!) and others. The most recent race was the NORRA 500 in Mexico, October of 2023.

Mike founded Silverthorne Powersports in 2002. For almost 20 years the dealership has been offering quality products and superior service.
Mike started working on bikes back when he was ten years old in New Jersey. Little did he know that this early experience would lead to owning a dealership one day.
He mostly works.... However, lately he has been spending time on his Yamaha Tenere 700 and will be hitting a few motocross races this fall. Including the Vet National Championship at Glen Helen California along with his old race buddys.
